Act One Cinema Acton

Act One Cinema Acton is a small independent, community-focused cinema located in The Old Library at Acton Centre on High Street in the Acton area of West London. Housed in a converted library space, it operates as a single-screen venue offering a varied programme of independent, arthouse and mainstream films, family screenings and special events such as Q&As and retrospectives. The venue uses digital projection and standard cinema sound; its emphasis is on an intimate, community-oriented film-going experience rather than large-format presentations (no IMAX). It is a local alternative to larger multiplexes in central London.
