There has been a lot of buzz online recently about the potential cast for the upcoming Harry Potter series. While the adult actors beloved by fans of the films will no longer be part of the new adaptation, young stars have a chance. A prime example is actor Hero Fiennes-Tiffin.
Hero Fiennes-Tiffin in Harry Potter
British actor Hero Fiennes-Tiffin first caught the attention of a wide audience in 2009, playing the young Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Though his screen time was only a few minutes, he convincingly portrayed the cunning, arrogance, and hidden cruelty of the future Voldemort.
A curious fact: Voldemort himself in the Potter films was played by Hero’s uncle, Ralph Fiennes. Many viewers assumed the role was given to Hero solely because of their family connection. However, director David Yates disagreed:

"Hero perfectly embodied the young Tom. He captured the inner darkness and mannerisms with incredible accuracy. The family connection with Ralph Fiennes was more of a happy coincidence and not a deciding factor in the casting."
Will Hero Fiennes-Tiffin Return to the Harry Potter Universe?
Rumors about a potential Harry Potter reboot on HBO have fans speculating whether Hero might return to this universe. The actor himself hasn't ruled out the possibility:
"I don’t think I could be anyone else," he explained. "I'm not just Team Tom Riddle, I'm Team Slytherin as well. So if it is anyone else, I think it's gotta be Team Slytherin. I've picked my name out of the hat, and I'm Slytherin 'till I die," he admitted in a recent interview.

There have been no official announcements regarding his involvement in new franchise projects yet, but considering his charisma and acting growth, fans would be thrilled to see him back in the magical world.
