Neon has released full trailer for Mike Flanagan’s highly anticipated film, The Life of Chuck, featuring Tom Hiddleston in the titular role. It is set to hit theaters on June 6.
The film showcases a talented cast, with Benjamin Pajak, Jacob Tremblay, and Cody Flanagan portraying different stages of Chuck's life. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Karen Gillan play Marty and Felicia, a divorced couple whose lives are deeply affected by the enigma surrounding Chuck. Mia Sara and Mark Hamill take on the roles of Chuck’s grandparents, while Nick Offerman serves as the narrator.
In addition to directing, Flanagan also edited and co-wrote The Life of Chuck alongside Stephen King. The film was acquired by Neon after winning a people’s choice award at the Toronto International Film Festival. Unlike some of King’s more horror-centric adaptations like It, this film has drawn comparisons to classics such as Shawshank Redemption and Stand By Me. Filming commenced in October 2023 under a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement.
