Avengers: Doomsday is set to bring back several characters, including both long-time familiar faces and relatively new ones who have barely begun to influence the future of the film universe.
Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) — the franchise's main sorcerer will continue his adventures in the multiverse. He will return to play an important role in the fight against threats that threaten to destroy all worlds.
Sam Wilson as Captain America (Anthony Mackie) — after Sam accepts the shield, he will lead a new team of Avengers to face dangerous enemies, including Doctor Doom.
Fantastic Four — Reed Richards, Jean Walker, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm will finally join the film universe. Their appearance will be an important milestone, especially given Reed's confrontation with Doctor Doom, who will turn out to be the main villain.
Spider-Man (Tom Holland) - Peter Parker will return to the screens once again to play a major role in fighting threats to the multiverse and even lead the Avengers in some scenes.
Chris Evans - Although Chris' role in Avengers: Doomsday is currently under wraps, it is most likely that he will return as Captain America. But fans are also hoping to see him as Johnny Storm, as in Deadpool and Wolverine, or even as a Hydra version of the Captain, which could be an interesting plot twist.
