The Game of Thrones finale left viewers with many questions, and one of them is what happened to Daenerys' body after Drogon carried her away? According to the writers, the dragon went to Volantis, but why? If you think about it, there's only one reason.
There's a rather disturbing but intriguing fan theory that the dragon could have taken her to the Red Priests, whose rituals, as we remember, once brought Jon Snow back to life. Drogon, of course, doesn't understand magic, but he probably has an instinct that says "save my mother", which means the temple in Volantis is the best place to do it.
And if this guess is correct, then Daenerys in the future may either get a second chance, trying to fix everything she did in the finale, or... become something much more dangerous.
