Still from the film 'Jurassic World'

The reboot of the cult franchise will hit screens in the summer of 2025 with a new plot and a star-studded cast.

Fans of dinosaurs and exciting adventures, get ready! The reboot of the Jurassic World franchise, which started back in 1993, is ready to please viewers with a new film. The premiere of the blockbuster in American cinemas is scheduled for July 2, 2025.

A new chapter of Jurassic World

The action of the new film will unfold five years after the events of the last Jurassic World, released in 2022. The ecological situation on the planet has become critical for dinosaurs, and the last representatives of the ancient world are forced to survive on an isolated island. It is there, on assignment from the government, that a biologist scientist played by Jonathan Bailey is sent.

Dinosaur DNA as the Key to Human Survival

His mission is to find the DNA of the three largest dinosaurs and create a medicine to save humanity. The scientist will be accompanied by Zora Bennett, a specialist in especially dangerous operations, whose role went to the brilliant Scarlett Johansson. However, as often happens, things don't go according to plan and the research team encounters a group of civilians.

The star-studded cast of Jurassic World

The cast of the new Jurassic World also includes Ed Skrein, Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend and Manuel Rulfo. The blockbuster is directed by Gareth Edwards, known for his work on Godzilla and Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One. The screenplay for the film was written by David Koepp, who wrote the screenplays for the first two films in the franchise, which promises to preserve the spirit of the original.
