Lopez plays Ingrid Luna, a film actress whose most famous role is that of a spider woman who can kill her victims with a kiss. The plot centers on hairdresser Luis Molina, who is serving a prison sentence and, in order to escape the horrors of imprisonment, he fantasizes about movies with Ingrid.
The film also stars Diego Luna and Tonatiuh (Carry-On). The film was directed by William «Bill» Condon (Beauty and the Beast).
Kiss of the Spider Woman will be released on October 11.
