In Arcane, the storyline follows a linear structure without flashbacks. However, the first season introduced a time jump that significantly altered the ages of the main characters. Initially, Powder is around 11-12 years old — a fragile, inventive girl who admires her older sister. After a life-changing tragedy, she transforms into the unstable Jinx, with the audience seeing her at the age of 17-19. By season two, Jinx is already 20-21 years old.
Similarly, her older sister Vi, who starts the series at about 14-15, is roughly 24 by the end of season two. Caitlyn Kiramman is about the same age, while the scientist Jayce Talis is likely older, around 30 by the second season.
Interestingly, the voices of Vi and Jinx in the international release are provided by well-known actresses Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell, who are both 28 years old.
