Kevin Costner had to sacrifice a lot to create his own long-dreamed project — including money, a role in Yellowstone, and possibly time. The first part of his epic western saga Horizon premiered last year, but immediately after, things started going wrong — critics were divided, and the film later flopped at the box office.
This setback delayed the release of the second part, which, by the way, we still haven’t heard about; recently, however, one of the actors from the first film shared his thoughts — and it seems the Horizon sequel won’t be arriving anytime soon.
Glynn Turman also doesn’t know what’s happening with the second Horizon
The actor who played a role in the upcoming film recently said he himself is unsure when the movie will hit theaters — moreover, there have been no updates since the first Horizon film came out in August last year. According to Glynn Turman, he’s heard something about filming the third installment, but rumors say it also hit problems, forcing production to halt.

He added that he doesn’t know if filming has since resumed but confirmed the second part should be ready for release — though when that will be, he doesn’t know either. Still, the actor took the chance to praise Kevin Costner, expressing gratitude for the role in a “old-fashioned” western, which remains one of the most fascinating genres even today.
Will we see the Horizon continuation? The future of Costner’s western saga is uncertain — and it’s not just about the film’s criticism
Before Horizon can finish its story, it will have to overcome several legal battles.
Things weren’t going well for the franchise already, but recently two major new problems arose. First, Costner’s production company was sued by partner studio New Line Cinema, which was unhappy with the financing agreement for Horizon.

Shortly after, the actor was also sued by a stuntwoman who accused him of not informing her about participation in a scene depicting sexual assault and pointed out that no intimacy coordinator was present on set.
