New Villains and Adventures Await in 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Season 3

Star Trek Still

Fans of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds can mark their calendars for the highly anticipated third season, premiering on Thursday, July 17, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S.

The first two episodes will drop simultaneously, followed by weekly installments culminating in the season finale on September 11. The series has already been renewed for a fourth season, which is currently in production.

Season 3 picks up with the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise under Captain Pike’s command, after their intense confrontation with the Gorn in season two. New adventures await as they explore new civilizations and face fresh challenges, including a formidable villain testing their resolve. The show promises a mix of genres — faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery —delivering never-before-seen storytelling within the Star Trek universe.

The cast includes Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Christina Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, along with guest stars Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt, Melanie Scrofano, and special guest Paul Wesley. Produced by CBS Studios and others, with showrunners Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers at the helm. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds streams on Paramount+ across multiple regions and is distributed globally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
