The USS Callister is ready for takeoff once again, as Netflix unveils the trailer and first-look images for Season 7 of Charlie Brooker's acclaimed sci-fi anthology series, Black Mirror.
Notably, Cristin Milioti will return as Nanette Cole, a level-headed computer programmer who found herself ensnared in a video game created by her boss, Robert Daly, portrayed by Jesse Plemons. Although Daly was defeated at the end of "USS Callister," several other characters survived. This includes Billy Magnussen's Karl, Milanka Brooks' Elena, and Osy Ikhile's Nate, all of whom are set to reprise their roles in the upcoming season. Additionally, Jimmi Simpson will return as James Walton, a character who seemingly sacrificed himself to defeat Daly.
The newly announced cast also features Michele Austin, Ben Bailey Smith, Asim Chaudhry, Josh Finan, James Nelson-Joyce, Will Poulter, Jay Simpson, and Michael Workéyè. Along with the USS Callister crew, the returning cast for Season 7 includes notable names like Awkwafina, Peter Capaldi, Emma Corrin, Patsy Ferran, Paul Giamatti, and many others.
Black Mirror first premiered in December 2011 on Channel 4 in the UK before being acquired by Netflix ahead of its third season in 2016.
