The animated series, set in the beloved Stranger Things universe, will be presented by executive producer Eric Robles on June 11 as part of the “Next on Netflix Animation” showcase.
In addition to this highly anticipated title, director Alex Woo and his team will unveil never-before-seen footage from their upcoming film, In Your Dreams, a comedy adventure set for a fall release. The film follows siblings Stevie and Elliot as they navigate a whimsical dream world filled with quirky challenges.
The festival will also feature Fixed, an adult comedy from Genndy Tartakovsky about a dog facing neutering who embarks on one last adventure. Tartakovsky aims to create a classic animated film with a mature twist, blending humor with heartfelt storytelling.
Other highlights include screenings of Astérix & Obélix: The Big Fight, Devil May Cry, and a masterclass with Raphael Bob-Waksberg, creator of BoJack Horseman. With such a diverse lineup, Netflix is set to make a significant impact at this year’s festival.
