Mark Ruffalo and Tucker Pillsbury, aka Role Model, will star alongside Natalie Portman in Good Sex, Lena Dunham ’s new romantic comedy for Netflix.
Her world shifts when she meets two men — one in his twenties and another in his fifties — who teach her that there’s no single formula for good sex. Portman and Sophie Mas are producing through MountainA, with Dunham and Michael Cohen of Good Thing Going Productions. Tim Bevan and Michael Sledd are executive producers, along with Michaela Celella for MountainA.
Good Sex is one of two rom-com projects Dunham has lined up for Netflix; the other is series Too Much, starring Will Sharpe and Megan Stalter , premiering July 10. Ruffalo, fresh off Bong Joon-ho Mickey 17 and an Oscar-nominated role in Yorgos Lanthimos' Poor Things, stars in the Sundance premiere Hal & Harper alongside Cooper Raiff and Lili Reinhart. He’ll also appear in HBO’s Task from Brad Ingelsby, set to debut this September, as well as upcoming projects on Amazon MGM and Lionsgate. Pillsbury, known as singer-songwriter Role Model, has released albums Rx and Kansas Anymore. He is repped by Paradigm, Wasserman Music, and Myman Greenspan Fox.
