The work on the sequel to the Netflix hit is in full swing.

Actress from Joker 2 and A Star Is Born, Lady Gaga, is involved in the filming of the second season of the series Wednesday. Jenna Ortega still plays the lead role.

As it turns out, the stage star was thrilled with her collaboration with the young actress. While she hasn’t shared any details about her character, she did admit that the filming left her with very positive impressions.

Lady Gaga in Wednesday Season 2

It was announced last November that the singer would join the cast of the series. Although Lady Gaga hasn't revealed details about her on-screen role, it is speculated that she will play a guest character. She has already completed her part of filming and recently shared her thoughts in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"I don’t want to give away anything about being part of the show," Gaga tells EW, confirming that she's part of the program following our initial report. "I want to keep it extra secret — but, I love Jenna, and I really had an amazing time!"

In addition to Lady Gaga, the cast has been expanded with Steve Buscemi, Christopher Lloyd, and Billie Piper.

Wednesday Season 2

The speculation about Lady Gaga possibly joining the series began after the success of the first season. The dance performed by Jenna Ortega's character became so viral that the singer even recreated it. Following that, the young actress expressed hope that Netflix would reach out to Gaga and offer her a role, and that’s exactly what happened.

Earlier, the creators mentioned that the second season would feature much less romance and more of a horror element. The writers hoped to focus more on the Addams family and the relationships between Wednesday and her relatives. Additionally, each episode will be structured like a full-length film.
