In the movie adaptation of How to Train Your Dragon, there’s more to be said. If you were thinking of writing off the film, hold off for now. Actor Gerard Butler assures that there’s something interesting to discover in it.
Gerard Butler, who previously voiced Hiccup’s father, Stoick the Vast, in the animated version, assures that one key detail sets this film apart, offering a completely different experience from its animated predecessor. This movie promises to captivate fans of all things thrilling and eerie.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Butler shared that while he had only seen a rough cut, it was enough to confirm that something truly frightening is on the way.
“So there really were maybe 20% special effects done. And I get goosebumps when I think about it. It was so amazing and so powerful. And then you see parts of it where they are closer to being done, and your jaw just drops” the actor confessed “I love the animated movies, but I always wondered, ‘God, what if this was real? What if we were really there, real people, real dragons?’ And we had a chance to do that, to make it real. And I think that is one of the main differences”.
He expressed excitement about seeing the finished product, believing that every second of it would be precious.
