The Dark Knight star Marion Cotillard deeply regrets one particular detail in the film she was part of. The actress still can’t shake the fact that she wasn’t able to fully convey the emotions of her character during her death scene. Cotillard believes she ruined the moment due to the stress she was under.
In an interview with Les rencontres du Papotin, Marion Cotillard admitted that she regrets her performance in her death scene in The Dark Knight Rises. She confessed,
"I didn't nail that scene. I didn’t find the right position. I didn’t find the right way… I was stressed. Sometimes it happens that you screw something up. So that, I screwed up."

In the film’s third act, Cotillard’s character, Miranda Tate, is revealed to be Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Ra’s al Ghul, and is killed during a crash while attempting to escape with Gotham’s destruction. The scene, often mocked online, featured a dramatic, cliche moment where Talia dies while uttering final words to Batman.
The Dark Knight Rises, directed by Christopher Nolan, marks the epic conclusion to his Batman trilogy, released in 2012. The film follows Bruce Wayne as he faces a new enemy, Bane, and uncovers shocking truths about his past while attempting to save Gotham City from total destruction.
