Good Viewer Ratings and Critical Acclaim: The Goya Awards Recognized Two Films as Best

The Spanish Film Academy honored the drama 47 and the thriller La Infiltrada for their artistic value and relevance.

The Spanish Goya Awards surprised everyone by announcing two winners in the "Best Film" category. The laureates were the drama 47 by director Marcel Barrena and the thriller La infiltrada by Arantxa Echeverria.

47: A Story of Protest Amidst the Slums of Barcelona

The drama 47, based on real events, tells the story of Manolo Vital, a bus driver in Barcelona in 1978. Outraged by the government's treatment of poor immigrants living on the outskirts of the city, Manolo takes a desperate step — he hijacks a bus to demand justice and prove that public transport can reach remote areas. La infiltrada: Undercover Life Among Basque Terrorists

The thriller La infiltrada is based on the true story of a young woman, an undercover police officer, who infiltrates a Basque terrorist organization. For eight years, she lives under an assumed identity, risking her life and severing ties with her family in order to dismantle a dangerous cell. IMDb rating: 7.4.
