Candace is more determined than ever to finally catch her little brothers in the act, while their pet platypus, Perry, continues his double life as the suave Agent P, whose sole mission is to thwart Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s plans for world domination in the Tri-State area.
During its initial run, the Emmy-winning series aired 140 episodes over four seasons from 2007 to 2015, spawning several spin-offs and films, including the made-for-TV Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension and the Disney+ standalone feature Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe. The show follows two super-genius step-brothers, Phineas and Ferb (voiced by Vincent Martella and Thomas Brodie-Sangster), who dedicate their summer holiday to constructing elaborate inventions and embarking on thrilling adventures. Their free-spirited enthusiasm for outrageous fun drives Phineas’ sister, Candace (Ashley Tisdale), to extreme lengths in her quest to inform their mother (Caroline Rhea). They also have a pet platypus, Perry (Dee Bradley Baker), who lives a secret life as a super spy.
Alongside Tisdale, Martella, Baker, and Rhea, the reboot features voice talents from series creators Jeff Marsh and Dan Povenmire, as well as Alyson Stoner. David Errigo Jr., who voiced Ferb in Candace Against the Universe, will reprise his role for this new season.
The first two episodes of Phineas and Ferb will air on June 5 at 8 p.m. PDT/EDT on Disney Channel and Disney XD. The first ten episodes of the season will premiere on Disney+ in the U.S. and select international markets on June 6.
