The ensemble cast, led by Sydney Chandler as Wendy, is featured in new episodic images. The 8-episode season debuts with two episodes on Tuesday, August 12, at 8 p.m. ET on Hulu and FX in the U.S., and internationally on Disney+. New episodes will air weekly on Tuesdays.
The story begins when the deep space research vessel USCSS Maginot crashes on Earth, prompting Wendy and a group of tactical soldiers to make a dangerous discovery that reveals humanity’s greatest threat. Set in 2120, Earth is controlled by five corporations — Prodygy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold — where cyborgs and synthetics coexist with humans. The series introduces a new hybrid prototype named Wendy, created by Prodigy’s CEO to push the boundaries of immortality. When Weyland-Yutani’s spaceship collides with Prodigy City, Wendy and other hybrids face terrifying new life forms.
The show features five monsters and a cast including Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther,and others. Executive producers include Noah Hawley and Ridley Scott. Produced by FX Productions, Alien: Earth promises a thrilling new chapter in the franchise.
