We’ve seen Jeremy Allen White play a tortured chef (The Bear), a troubled teen (Shameless), and just about every flavour of brooding genius in between. But in The Mandalorian & Grogu, the star is going full space-opera — and trust us, you’ll need a moment (or three) to process his transformation.
According to Deadline, fans attending Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo were treated to fresh footage from the highly anticipated film. And that’s where the galaxy-sized twist dropped: Jeremy Allen White is set to play Rotta the Hutt — yes, Jabba’s son. Also known by his rather fragrant nickname, Stinky, the character has grown up quite a bit since his animated debut.
Now fully matured, Rotta has swapped the slime for sweat as a hulking gladiator, throwing down in brutal arena battles. We're talking muscular arms, armoured flesh, and enough brute strength to make a Wookiee weep. With this role, Allen White is trading kitchen meltdowns for lightsaber-adjacent carnage — and fans can’t wait.

From slicing onions to slicing enemies? Count us in. Just don’t expect him to say "Yes, Chef" this time around.
