The Iron Claw star welcomed his first daughter, Ezer Billie White, now 6, with his then-wife Addison Timlin on October 20, 2018. His second daughter, Dolores Wild White, now 4, joined the family on December 12, 2020. Although Timlin filed for divorce from White in May 2023, the two remain dedicated to co-parenting and have agreed to joint custody.
In January 2024, after winning the Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Musical or Comedy, White expressed his love for his children during his acceptance speech.

In June 2018, Timlin and White announced they were expecting their first child together, and on October 20, Ezer was born.
“Ezer Billie White 10.20.2018 Welcome to the world baby girl, it just got so much brighter,” Timlin captioned a photo of White cradling their newborn in the delivery room.
A month prior to her arrival, White shared his excitement with PEOPLE about becoming a father and his plans for their first moments together. “I just want to meet her. I’m just excited to have her,” he said. “I’m excited to take her home.”
He also mentioned their plans to bring her home to New York for the holidays, where his parents would meet their first grandchild. “Seeing my parents see her will be incredible,” he added.
On Ezer's 5th birthday in October 2023, Timlin took to Instagram to reflect on her daughter's growth and vibrant personality. “You have the best sense of humor and the best laugh,” she wrote. “You know when someone needs a friend and when something feels wrong. When you have a big feeling—it is gigantic.”
In the comments of the post, White expressed his affection, writing, “Sweetest girl in the world.”
Dolores Wild White
White and Timlin announced they were expecting their second child in October 2020, and just two months later, on December 12, Dolores was born.
“Dolores Wild White—born 12/12/2020, just in time to save the year. She is the answer to 1,000 prayers, and we are in love with her,” Timlin shared on Instagram.
In her post, she also expressed gratitude to White and their new big sister Ezer for their support during her labor. “Thank you, Ezer, for your patience and wisdom—you’re the best big sister ever. And to my husband, you are everything. We did it, baby,” she added.
As Dolores celebrated her third birthday in December 2023, Timlin penned a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, highlighting her daughter’s “tender and sensitive” nature. She reminisced about how, when Dolores first learned to crawl, she would climb into her lap and snuggle up “heart to heart.”
“Last night you asked me to rock you like a baby, and this morning you blew out a candle—I swear you made a wish,” Timlin wrote alongside a photo of Dolores with her birthday cake. “My wish for you is that all the hearts you find in this life will bring you the peace and belonging that yours does mine. Perfectly aligned, breathing it all in.”
After winning a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for The Bear in February 2023, White shared that his trophy would find a special home in his daughters' bedroom.
“They’ve started calling these Daddy’s trophy winner cups, and they really like them, so they can hang onto them for me,” he said, referring to his girls.
In June 2024, White told Entertainment Tonight that while his daughters are aware of the show, they haven’t watched it yet. “Well, my oldest, Ezzy, actually really enjoys the first couple of minutes of the pilot episode, which is just me getting scared by a bear and then falling on my butt,” White joked. “She’ll ask to watch that a lot. But that’s all of the show she’s seen.”
Ezer and Dolores' mother has a well-known friend who also serves as their godmother: Dakota Johnson.
Timlin frequently shares birthday tributes for her best friend, and in her October 2021 post, she highlighted the significant role the Persuasion actress plays in her children's lives.“Happy birthday to my bright and shiny friend and to Ezer and Dolly’s godmother,” she wrote. “Here you are looking the most godmotherly of them all. We love you so much; thanks for being born and for raising kids alongside me—it’s the best.”
In June 2024, Johnson spent a beach day in Malibu with White, Ezer, and Dolly. She was seen enjoying the sun in a yellow bikini while spending time with her goddaughters.
