The theme song for the series Wizards of Waverly Place is "Everything is Not What It Seems," performed by Selena Gomez (who plays Alex Russo).

This song is featured in every season of the show, with a new version introduced in season 4 that retains the same lyrics. It is the twelfth track on the Wizards of Waverly Place soundtrack.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Janice LeAnn Brown, who portrays Billie, will cover the original theme song, featuring Selena Gomez, for the upcoming Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.
