Every Family Has a Slytherin: Which Houses Did Harry Potter's Children Get Into?

Stills from the movie 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II' (2011)

Was Harry delighted?

When Harry Potter's children went to Hogwarts, many expected that they, like their parents, would end up in Gryffindor. But the magical sorting hat, as always, found a way to surprise.

Harry and Ginny's eldest son, James Sirius, confident, mischievous and charismatic, he almost immediately went to Gryffindor. This is not surprising, because he was named after two Gryffindors who were distinguished by their courage and love of pranks.

But the middle son, Albus Severus, turned out to be more difficult. He had heard stories about Gryffindor since childhood, but he doubted that he himself was brave enough. In addition, the shadow of the name Severus Snape weighed on him more than he would have liked. His fears were justified, the hat sent him to Slytherin. Although at first he perceived this as a mistake, over time Albus realized that Slytherin is not only about evil and ambition. Graduates of this faculty can also be loyal, achieve success through cunning, and know how to follow their own path.

But the youngest daughter, Lily Luna, seemed to combine the characters of both brothers. Lively, cheerful and with natural charm, she confidently stepped into the Gryffindor House, continuing the family tradition.

Thus, the children of Harry Potter proved that the House does not make a person either better or worse. In the end, you can find true friends in Slytherin, and in Gryffindor — to show not only courage, but also wisdom.
