Paramount has released the second official trailer for the action film Mission: Impossible: The Final Reckoning starring Tom Cruise.
According to the plot, agent Ethan Hunt (Cruise) confronts a powerful artificial intelligence that threatens to enslave the entire world. The film also stars Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Nick Offerman, Angela Bassett, and others.
The director was Christopher McQuarrie. The budget, according to various estimates, exceeded the $300 million mark amid regular reshoots. The previous Mission, Deadly Payback, was released in 2023 and earned $571 million (with a price tag of $291 million).
The world premiere of Final Reckoning may take place at the 78th Cannes Film Festival (May 13-24).
