Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson star in the upcoming horror-comedy Die, My Love, directed by Lynne Ramsay . A new clip released ahead of its Cannes premiere shows the two crawling toward each other in a field, meeting with a kiss and Pattinson asking, "Wanna get married?" Lawrence responds enthusiastically, "Yeah. Yeah. F--- yeah," before they fall to the grass.
The film also features LaKeith Stanfield , Sissy Spacek, and Nick Nolte . Based on Ariana Harwicz’s 2017 novel, Die, My Love follows Lawrence’s character — a woman consumed by love and madness — while Pattinson plays her husband and Stanfield her lover. Pattinson previously shared in a GQ interview that he felt stressed preparing for an impromptu dance scene with Ramsay and Lawrence, both talented dancers who found it easy to improvise. Lawrence’s production company, Excellent Cadaver, backs the project alongside Black Label Media.
A first-look image from November 2024 shows Lawrence holding a drink. Ramsay mentioned at the Sarajevo Film Festival that Lawrence responded strongly to the material, which explores themes like postnatal depression and bipolar disorder but also incorporates humor.
