Channing Tatum May Say Goodbye to the Part of Gambit in the Marvel Universe: The Actor Commented on the Rumors

Channing Tatum

According to insider information, the artist will not appear in the next X-Men film.

Casting rumors for upcoming Marvel X-Men films have fans on edge. It looks like one of the most anticipated characters may be getting a new actor.

Gambit without Channing Tatum?

According to movie insider Daniel Richtman, Marvel Studios is seriously considering replacing Channing Tatum as Gambit in future X-Men projects. While there is no official announcement yet, rumors of a search for a new actor for the role are already circulating online. This puts Tatum’s future involvement in the Marvel Universe into question.

Solo Movie Dreams Are Collapsing?

This likely means the end of Tatum’s hopes for a long-awaited solo Gambit movie. The actor debuted in the role in Deadpool and Wolverine, and many fans expected to see him in the character’s story further. However, Marvel’s plans seem to have changed.

Has the actor accepted the situation?

Channing Tatum himself seems to have come to terms with the situation. He admitted that, although he is discussing the issue with Marvel, he is trying to “let go” of the role, realizing that the chances of it happening are slim.

“Maybe they are waiting to see how it will be with or without us. We call each other every now and then, but we have to spiritually, emotionally, kind of mentally let go of it,” OK! Magazine quotes the actor as saying.

What’s next for Gambit?

Whether this will mean the end of Tatum’s Marvel story, time will tell. However, it seems that Gambit fans should prepare for a new actor to play the role.
