Cannes Film Festival Countdown: Tentative Schedule Revealed

The schedule is beginning to take shape, with a tentative lineup emerging. While Kelly Reichardt and Saeed Roustaee are not yet fully confirmed, it appears they will screen their films during the festival's final days.

Additionally, Bi Gan’s film Resurrection is reportedly scheduled for May 22 but has yet to be officially announced by Cannes. The film's runtime is approximately 2.5 hours and we hope it has cleared Chinese censors for screening. The only remaining announcement is for the Cannes Classics section, which is rumored to kick off on May 13 with a 4K restoration of Charlie Chaplin’s The Gold Rush.
