Deliver Me from Nowhere, a Bruce Springsteen biopic produced by 20th Century Studios and starring Jeremy Allen White, will premiere in theaters on October 24.
The film competes with releases like Warner Bros’ Mortal Kombat 2, Focus Features’ Yorgos Lanthimos, and Paramount’s adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Regretting You. Directed and written by Scott Cooper, the movie explores a pivotal period in Springsteen’s life during the making of his 1982 album Nebraska. It delves into his creative struggles amid fame, mental health issues, and complex family relationships.
The cast features Jeremy Strong as Springsteen’s manager Jon Landau, along with Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Johnny Cannizzaro, and Matthew Anthony Pellicano. Springsteen has publicly supported the project and praised White’s performance on SiriusXM’s Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, noting that White captures his essence convincingly. Producer Scott Stuber is making his first film since leaving Netflix Film leadership, working alongside Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Eric Robinson. The film aims to offer an intimate look at Springsteen’s creative process during a transformative time in his career.
