Bradley Cooper has wrapped production on Is This Thing On?, his latest film for Searchlight Pictures, which he directed, co-wrote, produced and also stars in. The ensemble cast includes Will Arnett, Laura Dern, Andra Day, Sean Hayes — and now, an eclectic mix of fresh comedic voices and surprising names, including Amy Sedaris, stand-up comics Chloe Radcliffe, Jordan Jensen and Reggie Conquest, as well as NFL legend Peyton Manning.
The screenplay was co-written by Cooper, Arnett and Mark Chappell (See How They Run), with Cooper producing through his Lea Pictures banner alongside Arnett and Kris Thykier (Kick-Ass). The film brings back key members of Cooper’s Maestro team: cinematographer Matthew Libatique, production designer Kevin Thompson, editor Charlie Greene, and Oscar-nominated department heads Lori McCoy-Bell and Nicki Ledermann.
Among the new additions, Emmy-nominated comedian Amy Sedaris brings her distinct style to the ensemble. Rising stand-ups Radcliffe and Jensen, both featured in Deadline’s and Vulture’s comics-to-watch lists, mark their growing presence in film, with Jensen making her acting debut. Composer and producer Scott Icenogle and comic Reggie Conquest (Insecure, Abbott Elementary) round out the comedic talent.

Manning, a Pro Football Hall of Famer with growing media presence, adds an unexpected twist to the lineup. His move into scripted film comes after hosting The Manningcast, College Bowl, and voicing animated characters in The Simpsons and Ferdinand.
As production concludes, Is This Thing On? positions itself as a genre-blending ensemble film that mixes comedy, character drama, and sharp creative voices — continuing Cooper’s run of ambitious, personal storytelling under the Searchlight banner.
