Jay North, best known for his portrayal of the mischievous Dennis Mitchell in the 1960s hit sitcom Dennis the Menace, has sadly passed away at the age of 73. His death on April 6, 2025, followed a battle with colorectal cancer. North’s portrayal of Dennis, with his cheeky grin and endless mischief, became iconic, making him a household name and endearing him to generations of fans.
Beyond his memorable role in Dennis the Menace, North also appeared in films such as Zebra in the Kitchen (1965) and Maya (1966). His versatility shone through, not just on screen, but also in his voice work for animated series, including The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show.
