Emily in Paris is on the move — quite literally. Netflix has confirmed that production on Season 5 of the hit series will kick off this May, with the first scenes being filmed in Rome before the show returns to its iconic Parisian roots later in the summer.
Most of the main cast is coming back, including Lily Collins (Emily), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), and others. One notable absence? Camille Razat, who played Camille for four seasons but exited the story at the end of Season 4 after faking a pregnancy and leaving Paris — a twist that caught fans by surprise and now, seemingly, concludes her arc.
Lucas Bravo’s comeback is somewhat unexpected, given past comments about his dissatisfaction with Gabriel’s storyline. "Three seasons playing melancholic, sad, depressed and lost is not fun anymore," he told IndieWire, adding he hopes Gabriel can return to being 'fun' and 'alive.'

Season 4 ended with Emily being offered the chance to lead Agence Grateau’s new office in Rome, placing her closer to her new romantic interest Marcello. According to creator Darren Star, Emily will now split time between both cities — though "she did not change her Instagram handle to Emily in Rome."
