When Anna Sawai made her Met Gala debut earlier this month, no one expected her to end up wearing almost the exact same outfit as Met Gala pro Zendaya. Both stunned the crowd in striking white suits topped with wide-brimmed hats — Anna in Dior, Zendaya in Louis Vuitton — walking up the famous steps just hours apart. The eerie similarity quickly caught the fashion world’s attention, sparking talk of accidental twinning.
But, as Zendaya’s stylist and longtime collaborator Law Roach told Entertainment Tonight a week later, there’s zero drama between the two stars.
"People thought that there was some type of disappointment on our en," Roach explained. "But nothing could be further from the truth." He added that he’s friendly with Anna’s stylist, Karla Welch, and they’ve known each other for years. In fact, Zendaya even sent Anna flowers to celebrate her first Met Gala.

Roach expressed disappointment at online speculation trying to pit them against each other.
"They both looked great and they’re both beautiful women," he said, reminding us that fashion is about celebration, not competition.
Sometimes, style surprises come in the form of unexpected harmony, proving that even in the spotlight, kindness and respect shine brightest.
