Fox has battled for over 35 years. This marks a special reunion for Fox and Shrinking co-creator Bill Lawrence, who previously worked together on Spin City, which earned Fox his fifth Emmy.

His return to acting is his first since appearing in The Good Fight in 2020 and follows his collaboration with Apple on the documentary STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie.
Shrinking, co-created by Jason Segel, Lawrence, and Brett Goldstein, follows grieving therapist Jimmy (Segel) who begins breaking rules to tell clients what he truly thinks — leading to major life changes.
