Pedro Pascal isn’t one to throw words around lightly — so when he calls The Mandalorian & Grogu "one of the most incredible adventures you’ll ever see," Star Wars fans better buckle up.
Speaking to IMDb at Star Wars Celebration Japan, Pascal was practically glowing with excitement over what Jon Favreau has created.
"The series alone had some of the most incredible sets I’ve ever seen" he said. "And the way they top that in the movie… it’s not anything I thought was possible."

This marks the first theatrical Star Wars project since The Rise of Skywalker in 2019, and is expected to launch a new wave of connected stories within the franchise. The film will continue the narrative established in The Mandalorian series, reuniting Din Djarin and Grogu for a journey with much higher stakes. Production is set to begin later this year, with a tentative release window eyed for 2026.
Pascal didn’t stop there, either. "I’ve looked back at Jon and said directly to him, ‘How the hell did you do this?’ 'He’s a genius… my Jedi Master." Big words, bigger expectations.
As if that weren’t enough, sci-fi royalty Sigourney Weaver is stepping into the galaxy far, far away as a Rebel Alliance pilot.

"I didn’t expect to join another franchise," she told IMDb. "And what a cool franchise."
With Favreau at the helm, Pascal all-in, and Weaver entering hyperspace, The Mandalorian & Grogu isn’t just another chapter — it’s shaping up to be an event.
