Jude Law and Andrew Garfield have signed on to star in an upcoming Apple TV+ limited series about the legendary magicians Siegfried & Roy, according to Variety. Law will portray Siegfried, while Garfield will play Roy, with filming scheduled to begin in the fall. The show’s official logline describes it as a “wild ride” exploring the relationship of two of history’s greatest showman-magicians, who, along with their white tigers, aimed to transform Las Vegas into a family-friendly destination. The series will delve into their pushing of illusion versus reality, both personally and professionally, culminating in tragedy that shrouds their final Las Vegas performance with mystery.
John Hoffman developed the project for television; he will serve as executive producer, showrunner, and director. Both Law and Garfield will also be executive producers. Matt Shakman is attached to produce and direct the first episode. The production team includes Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner, Natalie Berkus from Imagine Entertainment, alongside Tony Leondis and Kathy Ciric. The series is inspired by the podcast Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy, created by Will Malnati and Steven Leckart.
Law recently starred in Disney+’s Star Wars: Skeleton Crew and is known for films like The Talented Mr. Ripley and Cold Mountain, earning Oscar nominations for both. Garfield’s notable TV work includes Under the Banner of Heaven, earning Emmy and Golden Globe nominations; he’s also a two-time Oscar nominee for Hacksaw Ridge and tick, tick… BOOM!. Both actors are represented by major agencies.

Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn rose from cruise ship acts to Las Vegas icons with their magic shows featuring white tigers at the Mirage Hotel from 1990 until 2003. Their act ended after Horn was bitten by a tiger during a live performance, suffering severe injuries and a stroke. Both largely retired afterward, leaving behind a legendary legacy in entertainment history.
