Jack Nicholson fans, hold your breath. The legendary actor’s return is just around the corner, as he made a major public appearance after years of keeping a low profile.
At the 50th anniversary celebration of Saturday Night Live, where the stars gathered, Nicholson was spotted in the front rows. The actor even addressed the camera, introducing Adam Sandler’s segment.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Adam Sandler," Nicholson said.
The two starred together in the 2003 film Anger Management.
Sandler led a cheer for Nicholson, adding, “Love ya, brother” before performing a song about the history of Saturday Night Live.
Nicholson, now 87, has had a legendary career spanning over five decades, earning three Oscars in the process. While he never officially retired, he hasn't appeared in a film since 2010’s How Do You Know, and in recent years, he has made only a few public appearances, including attending a Lakers game in 2023.
A recent article in Radar mentioned that Nicholson’s comeback is highly possible.
"Only time will tell if he’s physically up to the challenge, but everyone’s so pleased to see him confident and a lot more like his old self,” a source told the tabloid.
The source added that Nicholson still has plenty of fire in his belly, and his strong support system, led by his kids and loved ones, has helped him lose weight and adopt healthier habits.
