The first trailer for The Unholy Trinity has landed, and it’s laced with gold dust, gunpowder, and more than a few choice words.
Set in 1870s Montana, the Western pits Samuel L. Jackson and Pierce Brosnan against one another in a gritty tale of buried treasure and blood debts. At the heart of the story is Henry Broadway (Brandon Lessard), a young man seeking vengeance for his father’s disgrace. But his mission soon pulls him into a dangerous rivalry between Brosnan’s upright sheriff and Jackson’s enigmatic outlaw, St. Christopher.
The trailer wastes no time in setting the tone: part classic showdown, part character-driven mystery. Brosnan warns, "Not every man who is known is loved," while Jackson recalls, "Me and him stole enough gold to pave the streets of heaven." As the stakes rise and alliances blur, it’s clear that gold isn’t the only thing buried in the town of Trinity.
Directed by Richard Gray (Murder at Yellowstone City) and written by Lee Zachariah, the film features a solid ensemble including Veronica Ferres, David Arquette, and Q’orianka Kilcher. The Unholy Trinity is set to hit cinemas nationwide on June 13, with plenty of promise for fans of slow-burn Westerns with sharp dialogue and sharper motives.
