The fantastic series Doctor Who is getting ready to return with a new season. The continuation of the cult project starts on April 12 on the BBC channel and the Disney+ platform.
Judging by the new trailer, viewers can expect a lot of interesting and very unexpected things: worlds beyond the Universe, live-action cartoons, and even a space music competition.
Doctor Who: the main character is back in action
The main character of the series is an alien time traveler known as the Doctor. He travels through different eras and worlds on his ship, the Tardis, helping people and saving entire civilizations.
Last season, the Doctor, played by Ncuti Gatwa, and his companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) met The Beatles, stopped a war in the distant future, and even met dinosaurs.
What awaits viewers in the new season of Doctor Who?
This time, the Doctor will have a new companion, nurse Belinda Chandra (played by Varada Sethu). Together, they will set off in search of mysterious worlds, encounter never-before-seen enemies, and take part in an intergalactic music competition.
Inspired by retro aesthetics, showrunner Russell T. Davies promises a unique season that will surprise even the most devoted fans.
