In Valentine’s Day, Hathaway plays Liz, a receptionist with a secret side gig as a phone sex operator named Katya. The film follows various couples navigating love on the romantic holiday, with a star-studded cast including Taylor Swift, Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper, and more.
Hathaway reflected on Marshall’s impact on her career, saying, "Garry really crafted that performance to be the best it possibly could be," recalling her experience on The Princess Diaries. She also shared, "He taught me how to bring the joy" even in stressful moments on set.
