However, Netflix's upcoming docuseries, Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing, due to release on April 9, 2025, uncovers troubling allegations of exploitation and abuse within Rockelle’s online "Squad."
The three-part series sheds light on the darker aspects of the child influencer industry, featuring testimonies from former Squad members. It raises important questions about the ethics of monetising children’s content in an environment with few labour protections and exposure to online risks.
