You Can Now Watch The Best 'Star Wars' Series Online for Free

Still from the series 'Andor'

Unexpected generosity from Disney.

An unexpected gift for Star Wars fans: Disney+ and Lucasfilm have released three episodes of the Andor series online for free. This is a rare case when one of the most praised projects in the franchise can be watched legally and without a subscription.

How to watch Andor

On YouTube, the episodes are available in English and translate subtitles to almost all Europian langueges. To do this, in the video settings (gear icon), select Subtitles → Translate and select the desired language.

Disney is still being cunning

This step by Disney is not just a gesture of goodwill, but part of a marketing campaign: the studio is preparing viewers for the second season, which will be released on April 22. To refresh the events of the first season, the company has also prepared a 14-minute plot overview. But let's be honest, Andor is so good that three episodes won't be enough: the story of the militiaman Cassian is gripping, you can't stop and want more.

What will happen in the second season of Andor

In the second season, Cassian Andor will continue his journey from a simple smuggler to one of the leaders of the rebels. The story will cover four years, and the finale will smoothly lead viewers to the events of the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in which the hero gets closer to the secret of the Death Star itself.

So if you haven't seen this atmospheric spy thriller in the Star Wars universe yet, it's time to catch up.
