Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight was originally announced back in 2021, with the show's premiere scheduled for the year before last. Apparently, the postponement to this spring (30 April) was due to production difficulties, the animated series will be fully 3D.
In terms of plot, the new show will remain faithful to the original source in the face of the French comic. No connections to other works about Asterix and Obelix are expected. Also, The Big Fight will be the second animated series in the franchise known for full-length cartoons.
