The creator of "The Boys" series, Eric Kripke, shared the first behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the final fifth season on social media. The image features Homelander, the leader of the Seven, posing alongside his teammates—The Deep (Chace Crawford) and the new Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell).
The actors are captured in their superhero costumes, joined by the showrunner himself. In the caption, Kripke teased fans:
“They saved me. They saved me in every way a man can be saved. Feast your eyes on the first #Season 5 pic! ”
What Awaits Viewers in the Finale?
In the new season, the superheroes of the Seven—despite their smiles in the photo—will once again prove themselves to be some of the most dangerous villains.
At the end of the fourth season, Homelander seized power in the U.S., declared martial law, and arrested almost all members of The Boys. Only Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and Starlight (Erin Moriarty) managed to escape, and now they must stop the dictator before he plunges the country into civil war. The Deep, who fully supports his leader, is ready to take part in Homelander's most outrageous plans, while the new Black Noir, notorious for his brutality, will become a dangerous ally in this struggle.

When to Expect the Premiere?
Production of the fifth season began in late November 2024, and fans will have to wait until 2026 to see the new episodes. However, fans of "The Boys" universe can look forward to the second season of the spin-off "Gen V" in 2025, as well as a prequel about Soldier Boy and Stormfront's past, titled "The Rise of Vought."
