Ana de Armas might face assassins in Ballerina, but even Eve doesn’t go up against wings this deadly. On the latest Hot Ones clip, the actress smiles through the pain — literally — as she takes on the infamous hot sauce gauntlet while discussing action, self-doubt, and Marilyn Monroe.
"Oh, this is good. Oh, I like it. I’m doing good," she says with a slightly panicked glance around, prompting the host to laugh. But things heat up fast — emotionally and gastronomically.
Asked about John Wick-style fight choreography, Ana says,
"We wanted to push the humour. Sometimes the fights are intense and gory — but it’s the kind of action where you cover your face, but you’re still watching. You can’t stop it."
Then comes the most relatable moment. When asked if she critiques her own performances, she groans through the spice:
"I hate watching myself, I have to say."
Her face scrunches, she puts a palm to her mouth — "What was the question?" — and laughs.
