She cited a desire to explore diverse roles beyond the superhero genre, especially after an intense filming schedule for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Olsen's decision aligns with her recent focus on projects like The Assessment and an upcoming FX pilot titled Seven Sisters.
While her absence from these Avengers films is notable, it does not signify an end to her association with Marvel, leaving open the possibility of future appearances as Wanda.
