The Disney company has officially released an exciting trailer for the upcoming film "Snow White," which draws inspiration from the classic animated film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937). Rachel Zegler, recognized for her performances in "West Side Story" and "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes," takes center stage as Snow White. Gal Gadot, known for her iconic role in "Wonder Woman," captures the character of the Evil Queen. This much-anticipated film is scheduled to hit theaters internationally on March 21, 2025.
In the newly released trailer, Snow White shares her backstory as the daughter of a benevolent king, whose reign brought prosperity to the kingdom. However, her idyllic life takes a dark turn when her wicked stepmother usurps the throne following the king's death. As a result, Snow White becomes an outcast in her own home while the populace endures the harsh rule of the new queen. Consumed by jealousy, the Evil Queen consults her magical mirror and resolves to eliminate Snow White to reclaim her title as the most beautiful woman.
In her quest for escape, Snow White wanders into an enchanted forest and finds refuge in a hidden cabin. There, she encounters seven dwarf miners who discover her asleep. Gaining their friendship and support, Snow White embarks on a mission to overthrow her evil stepmother and reclaim her rightful place.
The film is helmed by director Mark Webb, renowned for works such as "500 Days of Summer" (2009) and the "Amazing Spider-Man" series (2012, 2014) featuring Andrew Garfield.
