After revealing a new look at Superman: Legacy and other Metahumans yesterday, director James Gunn has shared a second set of character posters for the upcoming DCU reboot. This time, the focus is on Superman’s "frenemies and enemies" — those who oppose him, whether willingly or not. The posters feature Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult), Eve Teschmacher (Sara Sampaio), The Engineer (María Gabriela de Faría), and Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo ).
Additionally, a poster for Anthony Carrigan’s Metamorpho was previously released. Notably, not all of Superman’s adversaries are shown here. Despite appearances in trailers, TV spots, and toy packaging — confirming Ultraman’s role — Gunn seems intent on keeping Ultraman and his actor out of the main marketing campaign for now.
The upcoming film stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Isabel Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, along with Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell as "Ma" and "Pa" Kent. Milly Alcock’s Supergirl has also been confirmed to debut before her own Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow movie.

Gunn wrapped filming last year, expressing gratitude for his cast and crew:
“It’s been an honor to create this story about a good man in a world that isn’t always so kind. The kindness and love on set inspired me daily.”
He promises a Superman story filled with epic action, humor, and heart — centered on compassion and belief in goodness.
