“In this bold and inventive story, an 18th birthday mushroom trip propels free-spirited Elliott (played by Stella) into an unexpected encounter with her 39-year-old self, portrayed by Aubrey Plaza. As the two versions of Elliott collide, her 'old ass' begins to dole out unsolicited advice and warnings about what the younger version should and shouldn't do. What starts as a psychedelic encounter quickly evolves into a profound, life-altering experience, forcing Elliott to confront the realities of family, love, and the transformative nature of the summer ahead. With humor, heart, and a dose of unexpected wisdom, Elliott must rethink everything she thought she knew about growing up.”
