The streaming giant has also revealed that the new season will premiere in two parts: the first on August 6 and the second on September 3.
In the trailer, Wednesday returns to Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts, with her mother Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) commenting on her daughter's unusual eagerness to return.
Wednesday quips, “It’s like returning to the scene of a crime — I already know where the bodies are buried.”
The trailer showcases her dark humor and features her spirited roommate Enid (Emma Myers), along with glimpses of the Addams family, including Gomez (Luis Guzmán) and Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez).
New faces join the cast, including Steve Buscemi as Principal Barry Dort and series regulars Billie Piper and Noah Taylor. The second season was filmed in Ireland, a shift from Romania in Season 1. Following its record-breaking debut in 2022, which made it Netflix's most-viewed English-language series, Wednesday continues to captivate audiences with its unique blend of humor and horror.
