Buckle up — Dave Bautista is officially back in action. Trap House, the high-octane, genre-bending action comedy from director Michael Dowse (Stuber), is set to storm theatres on November 14, with freshly minted U.S. distributor Aura Entertainment behind the wheel. As Deadline reveals, It’s the first title from their debut slate, and it’s arriving with some serious swagger.
Written by Fast & Furious architect Gary Scott Thompson and The Hitman’s Bodyguard’s Tom O’Connor, the film follows elite DEA agents whose teenage kids hijack their parents’ own tactics — think infiltration, surveillance, non-lethal weapons — to rip off a brutal drug cartel. It’s a wild, rebellious twist that practically screams for a cinema crowd.
"Trap House embodies everything we stand for: bold, smart, and wildly entertaining," said Aura CEO Marc Goldberg. And with Bautista headlining a cast that includes Tony Dalton, Jack Champion, Whitney Peak, Kate del Castillo, Zaire Adams, and Bobby Cannavale, it’s got firepower to match.

Bautista added, "We had such a great time making it, and I can’t wait for families to see it in theaters!"
With competition from Predator: Badlands and Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the November box office is heating up —Trap House is ready to kick the door in.
